Job Description
EHS Manager for Sherwin-Williams locations in Kirchlengern and Wuppertal, Germany, responsible for promoting and implementing health, safety, and environmental management systems.
Requirements
- Maintaining and improving the health, safety, and environmental management system at the Kirchlengern and Wuppertal locations
- Implementing Sherwin-Williams guidelines, records, and reports, with close cooperation with the site management
- Collaboration with regional and corporate EHS colleagues
- Taking responsibility at the site in terms of emergency response law
- Initiating and monitoring required occupational hygiene monitoring, as well as supporting occupational medical preventive measures
- Ensuring efficient EHS communication, including employee support for a continuously improving safety culture
- External contacts with regulatory bodies, advisors, trade associations, and insurance inspectors
- Contact person for internal and external audits
- Conducting process risk assessment, such as HAZID and HAZOP
- Ensuring proper emergency management
