Specialty Pharmacy Technician

At Shields Health Solutions, we are seeking a highly motivated and self-starter Pharmacy Liaison to provide integrated support to patients and pharmacists. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work independently, and demonstrate good judgment. The Pharmacy Liaison will be responsible for streamlining specialty pharmacy services within the specialty clinic, including pharmacy benefit prior authorization support, securing financial assistance, and patient outreach.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (3-5 years preferred)
• Nationally certified from PTCB or equivalent (strongly preferred but not required)
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Ability to quickly learn other software programs and extract relevant information
• Strong organizational/administrative skills
• Knowledge of transplant, hepatitis C, infectious disease (including HIV), and/or oncology (a plus)
