Job Description
Shive-Hattery is seeking a full-time Land Surveyor for an early career position assisting with boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and as-built work. The company fosters a team-oriented atmosphere and values client service, offering variety in projects. Candidates should be comfortable working in a team environment and independently.
Requirements
- 0-3 years experience as a Survey Crew Member or new graduate with a two year technical degree in Surveying or Civil Design
- Ability to operate and maintain survey equipment (robotic total stations, GPS, data collectors, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaborations skills
- Office functions including utility research and stakeout point creation
- Proficiency with Microsoft office products
- Ability to interpret construction plans
