Land Surveyor

At HDR, we're looking for a Land Surveyor to join our team. As an employee-owner, you'll be part of a collaborative culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. You'll work on complex land survey projects, coordinate with teams, and provide technical expertise to the firm.

Requirements

• Coordinate with other professional surveyors and teams to execute land survey project scope and schedule
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the most advanced and complex survey methodologies
• Supervise technicians and field crews to complete a variety of large-scale land surveying projects
• Serve as the client contact for HDR
• Responsible for signing and sealing plats and drawings
• Provide technical expertise to the firm in all areas of survey services
• Consult on many complex projects
• Help to develop new quality standards in both technical application and delivery
• Mentor and train a team of technicians on state survey requirements and QA/QC processes
• Strong technical skill set, including AutoCAD and MS Office
• Address complex technical issues with Project Managers and clients
• Perform field layout on complex or large sites, conduct research and renew client and government records, and address more difficult site measurements
