Job Description
Shop Your Way (SYW) is a FinTech and e-Commerce enablement platform leveraging a proprietary technology infrastructure to serve large brands like Raise and Way. SYW's Pay Your Way (PYW) service provides a loyalty program for partner businesses, enhancing conversions and revenue generation. SYW is experiencing rapid growth, fueled by recent investments and strategic partnerships. The company is seeking a Cloud Data/Systems Engineer to build, modernize, and scale data solutions on GCP.
Requirements
- BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, or Mathematics.
- 3+ years experience in designing and optimizing data models on GCP using GCP data stores.
- 3+ years experience analyzing, re-architecting and re-platforming on-premise data warehouses to data platforms on GCP.
- 3+ years hands-on experience architecting and designing data lakes on GCP.
- 3+ years of experience performing detailed assessments of current state data platforms.
- 3+ year experience designing and building production data pipelines.
- Experience with Spark, Cloud DataProc, Cloud Dataflow, Apache Beam, BigTable, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud PubSub, Cloud Functions, Java, Python, Scala, etc.
