Requirements
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- OT license in state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Master's in Occupational Therapy
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation or active pursuit of certification
- Proficiency in custom upper extremity splinting
- Experience working with a variety of pediatric patients in a clinical setting
- Advanced training or continuing education in pediatric orthopedic therapy or upper extremity rehabilitation
- Experience and enthusiasm for developing or expanding orthopedic therapy programs
- Proven ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary staff, lead clinical initiatives, or supervise students
- Familiarity with outpatient specialty care and mission driven care model
- Involvement in clinical education or community outreach related to pediatric therapy
- Experience working with pediatric patients with neurodevelopmental diagnoses (e.g., cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, genetic syndromes)
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate neurodevelopmental, sensory integration, and behavioral regulation principles into occupational therapy interventions
