Job Description
Our client, a construction and real estate development company, seeks an Accounting & Finance Personnel to join their team, responsible for establishing and managing financial systems, daily payment tracking, rental collections, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification or currently pursuing CPA qualification
- Proficiency in Odoo Accounting modules or the ability to learn quickly
- Experience in the construction or real estate industry (preferred)
- Strong understanding of lease tracking, rental schedules, and property-related finance
- Proven experience in preparing financial reports and managing cash flow
- Thorough knowledge of Tanzanian tax regulations and statutory compliance
- Ability to calculate and manage withholding tax and VAT obligations with precision
- Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to maintain financial confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with contract tracking systems
