Job Description
E&I Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all equipment in their areas of responsibility. They will make recommendations to the Maintenance Team or any corrective measures that will result in greater efficiency, quality and economy of operations.
Requirements
- Two-year technical degree in Electronics/Instrumentation with 3 years practical experience or commensurate practical experience with high school diploma or GED
- Carry out new installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, testing, certification, documentation, and housekeeping of the work area
- Follow Safe Work Permits instructions and fill in information required on the SWP concurrent with performing the specified operations
- Keep the Foreman informed of the status of work, problems or unusual circumstances encountered during the work, and of completion of the work
