The Specialist - Pediatric Critical Care physician works under the supervision of the Pediatric Critical Care Attending Physician, providing family-centered medical care to critically ill pediatric patients.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified qualification in General Pediatrics
• Advanced academic preparation and clinical training in Pediatric Critical Care
• Active participation in academic and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Compliance with applicable standards and requirements
• Patient counseling and anticipatory guidance
• Effective communication between patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnostic procedures
• Collaboration with Case Management and Discharge Planning teams
• Patient and family learning needs assessment and educational materials development
• Inclusive workplace environment promotion and safety standards adherence
