Instrumentation & Electrician Technician

Role Overview

The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician is responsible for maintaining, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

What You Will Do

Perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment failures, and support operations with continuous improvement initiatives involving process control systems.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, or related field
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and process instrumentation
• Preferred experience with DCS and PLC systems
• Preferred knowledge of hazardous area classifications and intrinsic safety
• Familiarity with CMMS
• Preferred certification in industrial electrical and industrial instrumentation
• Must be capable of reading isometric drawings, as well as P&ID/s single line diagrams, and loop sheets
