Aviation Structures/Sheetmetal Modification Technician IV

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a senior-level Aviation Structures/Sheetmetal Modification Technician for our Hagerstown, MD team. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently and supports leadership with technical expertise. The role requires timely completion of complex projects with attention to detail, following guidelines, and adhering to OSHA regulations.

Requirements

• Perform heavy structures repair and modifications on various aircraft.
• Maintain airframes and complete structural damage assessments to facilitate repairs for a diverse fleet of military and civilian aircraft, including but not limited to KingAir, Challenger 650 and Global 6500.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Control and Field Technicians to ensure timely fixes and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with other maintenance departments to resolve chronic aircraft issues.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards during inspection, maintenance, and modification tasks.
