SNC's Military Fellowship Program offers a six-month on-the-job training for eligible service members to transition to civilian workforce. Participants will gain work experience and build professional networks in the civilian sector.
Requirements
- Currently serving as active duty military and eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Able to effectively and clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements and solutions
- ITAR, EAR, FTR
- Experience analyzing and interpreting federal rules and regulations
- Significant experience with EWIS design for large transport category aircraft (14 CFR, Part 25, Subpart H)
- Familiar with use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (e.g. 3DExperience, Enovia SmarTeam, Teamcenter)
- Experience with 3D harness routing and installation design CAD tools (e.g. CATIA, SolidWorks, NX)
- Familiar with Model Based Design (MBD) principals
- Ability to effectively communicate EWIS system requirements to other engineering disciplines
- Working knowledge of environmental electromagnetic effects and electromagnetic compatibility principles, as well as methods of protection and mitigation of those effects on EWIS.
- Familiar with system safety principles and hazard mitigation methods
