Military Fellowship Program: Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. This program includes up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. The ISR business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, designing and integrating high-performance ISR and aviation systems.

Requirements

• Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
• Able to effectively and clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements and solutions
• Significant experience with EWIS design for large transport category aircraft (14 CFR, Part 25, Subpart H)
• Familiar with use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
• Experience with 3D harness routing and installation design CAD tools
• Familiar with Model Based Design (MBD) principals
• Ability to effectively communicate EWIS system requirements to other engineering disciplines
• Working knowledge of environmental electromagnetic effects and electromagnetic compatibility principles
• Familiar with system safety principles and hazard mitigation methods
