Military Fellowship Program: Systems Engineer

The Military Fellowship Program: Systems Engineer role involves research, architecting, modeling, simulating, testing, and improving cutting-edge products and services as a Systems Engineer. The position requires experience in systems engineering, multi-disciplinary design and development teams, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. The role is part of the SNC-led SAOC team, which is modernizing and delivering the next-generation SAOC aircraft trusted by the President, Secretary of Defense, and Chairs of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Requirements

• Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
• Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
• Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
• Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
