Job Description
The SMT Operator will set up and program the screen printer, SMT pick and place machine, and reflow ovens to ensure all quality aspects for all assembly projects are being met.
Requirements
- Set-Up & Tear Down- SMT Machines
- Knowledge of safety and operation of Pick-n-Place machines
- Ability to run Juki Pick & Place and reflow ovens
- Perform machine operator processes (startup, loading a recipe, adjusting the conveyor belt, production runs, shut down, and alarms)
- Makes minor machine adjustments such as placement of parts, measurement of components, and change or correct package size, clears machine jams
- Thoroughly and accurately complete forms and documentation as necessary
- Professionally and effectively communicate both verbally and written with coworkers, management, vendors, source inspectors, and customer representatives (when needed)
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Be punctual and maintain good attendance
- Other duties as assigned
