Job Description
The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for providing support to the Purchasing department by assisting in organizing and maintaining stockroom materials and supplies, issuing materials to the production department, and supporting inventory control procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
- A minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse/stockroom experience
- Excellent, professional customer service skills with vendors and internal/external customers with a sense of urgency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good mathematical aptitude
- Good computer skills: Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to learn new skills and tasks as required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds maximum and stand/walk throughout the day
- Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment
