Manufacturing Engineer II

The Manufacturing Engineer II role involves developing and implementing manufacturing processes, conducting root cause analysis, and leading process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in a fast-paced environment. As a team member, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize production processes, and resolve technical issues effectively.

Requirements

• Requires Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
• Typically 2+ years of related experience
• Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and practices, engineering techniques and methodologies
• Proficiency in CAD software (ex: NX)
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in process improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience in conducting process validation and verification tasks
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices
• Proficiency reading technical manuals and schematics
• Knowledge of equipment calibration and testing procedures
