Space Segment Lead (Clearance Required)

Sierra Space is seeking a Space Segment Lead with Clearance Required to lead the engineering team in the design and development of satellite systems. The successful candidate will work closely with the mission chief engineer and subsystem leads to architect a space vehicle to meet the mission requirements.

Requirements

• Drive multidisciplinary system development initiatives and architect comprehensive systems integrating multiple sub-systems
• Resolving conflicting system requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives
• Leading the derivation, decomposition, allocation, tracing, and management of system requirements and architectures
• Defining and documenting system concepts of operation
• Planned, defined, and led development milestone reviews
• Oversee system integration and verification activities to ensure system functionality and performance
• Identify and manage technical risks while developing mitigation strategies
