Grinder

SIFCO Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified Grinder to perform surface conditioning, coating, and blast operations on forgings.

Requirements

• Perform surface conditioning, coating, and blast operations on various sized billets, blockers, semi, and finished forgings.
• Grind and blend the surface of forged parts to remove flash, defects, nicks, scratched, sharp edges, and smooth irregularities.
• Read blueprints and schematics and work to specifications.
• Perform area housekeeping and other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Use various measuring tools, depth gauges, vernier calipers, and micrometers to secure tolerances of ±.005 inch.
