Senior Trade Operations Analyst

Join our Hong Kong office as a Senior Trade Operations Analyst supporting a fast-paced trading environment across equities and equity derivatives. This is a senior role that requires hands-on trade control while also leading initiatives, acting as an escalation point, and mentoring others. You'll drive improvements through better controls, smarter automation, and strong cross-functional partnerships.

Requirements

• Strong background (typically ~7+ years) in trade operations/desk support within equities and equity derivatives, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of core processes in a trading environment.
• Strong grasp of equities, options and equity derivatives across the full trade lifecycle; futures and fixed income familiarity a plus.
• High bar for accuracy, data integrity and auditability; balances speed with rigour and implements preventative controls—not just fixes.
• Proven ability to prioritise by risk/materiality, escalate early, and drive complex breaks/incidents to closure with clear root-cause analysis and durable remediation.
• Proficient with Bloomberg and advanced Excel; able to improve workflows through practical automation using VBA/Python/SQL (highly regarded).
• Comfortable leading operational initiatives end-to-end (scoping, stakeholder alignment, testing/UAT, rollout, documentation), including onboarding new markets/products and scaling desk controls/reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor others through onboarding, coaching and knowledge-sharing (runbooks/playbooks), and to act as an informal escalation point—without requiring formal people management.
• Clear communicator who builds positive relationships across trading floors, technology teams and external partners; able to influence outcomes in fast-moving situations.
