Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will assist physicians and perform various duties including patient interaction, clinical intake, pre-exam and diagnostic testing, procedure and treatment support, equipment and inventory management, clinic readiness and administrative support, and professional development.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification required or enrolled within one year and completion within two years of hire
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Skilled in problem-solving with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable engaging in face-to-face interactions with patients and staff
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
