Install Technician III (onsite)

Convergint Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Install Technician III to lead the installation and implementation of security systems for clients across the United States. The role requires a professional, detail-oriented individual committed to customer service, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional results. This is a key position within a leading security integrator, focused on physical security.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical or vocational training in electronics or related field
• Lenel OnGuard Certification
• Security+ Certification
• 7+ years proven experience in installation and maintenance of security systems
• Proven experience programming Lenel and Milestone technology
• Knowledge of low-voltage cabling, wiring, and termination techniques
• Familiarity with security equipment and software
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lead a team of Installers
