Systems Analyst (Hybrid)

Signet Jewelers is seeking a Systems Analyst to work in their Support Center in Akron, OH. The Analyst will be responsible for requirement gathering, business process design, development of use cases, testing, and post-production support of business applications. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of related experience. They will have strong experience in gathering and documenting requirements, proficiency in creating and executing test cases, and experience supporting user-facing applications as well as back-end batch processing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
• Certifications a plus
• 5+ years related experience
• General knowledge of business process workflows
• Understanding of software development life cycle
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting requirements
• Proficiency in creating and executing test cases
• Experience supporting user-facing applications as well as back-end batch processing systems
• Experience in creating Jira tickets and troubleshooting issues across teams
• Strong experience interpreting and working with complex SQL queries and performing data analysis
• Technical knowledge and Development experience with Java, SQL scripting, and Oracle databases
• Experience supporting job scheduling, batch processing, and system workflows
