Job Description
Significance is a woman-owned consulting firm seeking an SSC FIAR Senior Consultant to support an upcoming federal program. The role is hybrid, located in El Segundo, CA, and requires an interim or active Secret clearance. The consultant will support Space Systems Command (SSC) in advancing Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) efforts across multiple organizations and locations.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience supporting deliverables
- Evaluating and strengthening internal control environment across SSC and PEO assessable units
- Developing and maintaining business process documentation
- Identifying control deficiencies and developing Corrective Action Plans
- Supporting external financial statement audits
- Coordinating with stakeholders to obtain Key Supporting Documentation
- Supporting mission-critical asset valuation and accountability
- Analyzing program financial and contract data
- Designing and delivering audit readiness and financial management training
- Conducting data analysis and automation initiatives
