Job Description
Sila is a next-generation battery materials company seeking a Patent Engineer to join their Legal Team. As a Staff Patent Engineer, you will collaborate with technical teams to identify patentable inventions and draft patent applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science or engineering and experience in patent prosecution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s (BS) degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Physics, or a related field
- Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO)
- At least 5 years of experience in drafting patent applications
