The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of quality control measures and standards within the organization, maintaining and improving the quality of products, processes, and services.
Requirements
- Manage daily performance of QC staff
- Lead, motivate, and train QC personnel to meet or exceed department and company goals and objectives
- Investigate root cause of customer complaints and initiate/complete corrective action
- Propose, promote and champion actions to improve quality, processes and product
- Eliminate process variation and product defects through creative solutions
- Maintain ISO based quality systems
- Implement and manage systems to complete statistical analyses and control of all products
- Ensure customer requirements are met
- Devise ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Actively drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives using all available tools and technologies
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Develop and present KPI reports
