Job Description
The Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring the quality of products by conducting visual inspections, measuring color, and verifying technician paperwork. They must also communicate quality concerns to management and supervisors.
Requirements
- Follow and enforce Silgan Safety, Quality and GMP policies
- Complete visual inspections and applicable downstream challenges
- Measure color on applicable lines
- Review and verify technician paperwork
- File all line clearance forms
- Audit and place product on hold that does not meet quality requirements
- Use of appropriate gages as outlined per quality control plan
- Read and understand inspection sheets
- Analysis of data and accurate data entry in SPC system
- Communicate quality concerns to management and supervisors
- Special requirement audits based on 5-digit bottle code
- Inspect and measure start-ups
- Label inspections
- Gather PDS samples and prepare paperwork
- Additional testing required by customers as needed
