Job Description
The Quality Engineer is an integral part of the Quality team within Silgan Plastics, conducting analysis, testing, and follow-up, and ensuring machines are set up correctly and reading measurements properly.
Requirements
- Promote a safe working environment
- Understand and adhere to all Silgan safety policies and procedures
- Implement SPC and system management
- Facilitate activities and data review during mold qualifications
- Facilitate activities and data review during process capability analysis
- Initiate internal audits and control of audit documentation
- Manage the AVBIS system
- Assist in procedural training
- First article data analysis
- Last shot data analysis
- Daily review of Quality documentation and data
- Follow-up online issues as a result of documentation review
- Assist in other duties assigned by the Quality Manager
