Patient Safety Attendant Registry

Ensures safety of the patient through direct observation. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Provides ongoing observation of patients unable to maintain their own personal safety.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Ability to operate hand-held two-way radio
• Must be willing and able to sit for long periods of time monitoring patients safety
