Job Description
Silverback Strategies, a performance marketing agency, is seeking a Senior SEO Manager to drive and execute SEO strategies, lead client relationships, and manage projects. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of agency experience, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with AI search testing and optimization.
Requirements
- Agency Background: Youâve previously âdone the workâ at another performance marketing agency, and know what it takes to deliver results.
- Years of Experience: Weâre seeking candidates with at LEAST 3 years of agency experience; 5+ years of overall relevant marketing/SEO experience is required.
- Client-Facing Comfortability: This role is not a good fit for someone who doesnât want to talk directly to clients.
- Embrace Complexity: As a Senior SEO Manager, this role will be exposed to more complex and challenging situations.
- AI Search Testing & Optimization: You have hands-on experience optimizing for AI search (not theoretical; actual tests).
- Business Acumen: Being able to build & execute SEO strategies across multiple industries is crucial,
- Content Experience: Youâre an expert at driving content strategy based on audience, keyword and competitor research.
- Tools/Platforms: Youâre a pro with common SEO tools & platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, AHRefs, and Screaming Frog.
