Job Description
Mortgage Loan Originator I position at Simmons First National Corporation. Responsible for soliciting new residential mortgage business and establishing relationships with business partners. Must have knowledge of FHA, Conventional, and non-conforming loans, and excellent understanding of government lending guidelines and local down payment assistance programs.
Requirements
- Read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations
- Read, analyze and interpret financial reports and/or legal documents
- Write routine reports and business correspondence
- Respond in writing to customer complaints, regulatory agencies or members of the business community
- Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees in the organization
- Have knowledge of FHA, Conventional, and non-conforming loans
- Have excellent understanding of government lending guidelines and local down payment assistance programs
- Have strong connections with government entities, community groups, and non-profits who are engaged in facilitating home ownership
