Maintenance Tech I SS D shift

Assist in equipment repair and preventative maintenance procedures, perform repairs, and ensure equipment operates correctly and efficiently. Participate as a member of the team, attend team meetings, and foster strong cohesiveness regarding major issues. Familiarity with Simmons' established operating systems and maintenance of familiarity with systems is required.

Requirements

• Experience or vocational training in welding, electrical or mechanical repair, and refrigeration or hydraulics
• Communication skills & decision quality
• Ability to lift or move objects weighing 75-150 pounds
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, on feet for entire shift, in cramped, enclosed, elevated, wet, dirty area with a noise level above 90 decibels
