Job Description
Simple Steps, LLC is hiring a Therapeutic Art Facilitator for veterans in the Conroe, TX area to provide individualized therapeutic sessions. This is an employee position with the potential for increased hours. The role focuses on facilitating therapeutic art activities and assisting clients with cognitive and physical limitations.
Requirements
- Assist clients with cognitive and physical limitations.
- Facilitate therapeutic art activities.
- Submit weekly documentation with session observations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Must be able to travel to current or prospective clients’ homes
- Must be able to communicate with health care professionals, clients, families, and the general public.
- Must have access to a private personal laptop or desktop computer for HIPAA compliance.
- Track SMART goals and progress through weekly documentation.
- Implement patient care plans through home and community goal-related activities.
- Able to work independently, manage one’s own time and the time of client(s).
