Job Description
Simplified IT is a global IT Staffing and Managed Services company looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Python, PHP, Google Cloud, metrics and monitoring tools, logging solutions, OS/package management, and writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Python
- Experience in PHP (8.4.x)
- Experience working with cloud platforms, specifically Google cloud
- Exposure to metrics and monitoring tools such as Chronosphere, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Familiarity with logging solutions, specifically transitioning from Splunk to Splunk Cloud
- Exposure to OS/package management, including RHEL7 to EL8/9 shifts and yinst to RPM migrations
- Strong proficiency with writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests
