Job Description
We're seeking a Senior SecOps Engineer to join our IS&T team in Boston, Massachusetts, or Richmond, Virginia. The role will report to our Sr. Manager, IS&T, and will be responsible for owning and operating SimpliSafe's security tooling stack, leading detection and response, and partnering with Security, IT, and managed services vendors to continuously improve our security posture.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a related technology discipline
- Hands-on experience with security incident investigation and response
- Ability to work with and analyze security logs and data sets
- Experience administering or working closely with security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, or vulnerability management platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving threat environment
