Engineer in Training (Entry-level), Structural Mechanics

Requirements

• 0 – 2 years of professional experience in structural engineering or engineering mechanics
• A Master of Science or Master of Engineering degree with an emphasis on structural engineering and/or engineering mechanics
• Familiarity with building design codes such as IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC
• Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) registration within five years
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with computer programming
• Ability to travel and perform field inspections of structures
