Job Description
Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is seeking current students to join their Chicago, Illinois office for a 2026 Internship in Structural Engineering. The internship will provide hands-on experience assisting with various aspects of the engineering process, from construction monitoring and field investigations to structural design and analysis. SGH is dedicated to providing holistic advice to clients and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled or plan to complete a MS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of materials science.
- Proficiency in hand calculations and analysis software.
- Enthusiasm for challenges and high professionalism.
