Simpson Strong-Tie is a leader in engineered structural connectors, software, and solutions for the building industry. As a Tool Design Engineer, you will create progressive stamping tool designs and collaborate with team members to plan product manufacturing.

Requirements

• Create progressive stamping tool designs including all assemblies, details and related data required for manufacturing the required tooling
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to plan product manufacturing by analyzing product requirements and evaluate processes for tool design
• Provide design support to internal and external tooling teams during the manufacture of tooling and prototypes
• Maintain accurate design records to ensure long-term usability of design information
