Laborer

Sims Metal is seeking a Laborer to assist in the daily operations of their yard, including sorting, processing, and handling scrap metal. Requirements

• Perform & maintain general housekeeping
• Load and unload materials manually or with use of manual lifting equipment
• Sort and separate metals (e.g., ferrous vs. non-ferrous)
• Assist with preparing scrap materials for shipment
• Follow proper safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. and perform physical labor in outdoor or industrial conditions
