Middle School English Teacher

Sinai Akiba Academy is seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our Middle School teaching team. As an English Teacher, you will educate students (grades 6-8) by creating lesson plans, assessing progress, managing classrooms, and fostering academic and social-emotional growth.

Requirements

• Practice effective and supportive classroom teaching, innovative lesson planning, and dynamic assessment of student progress
• Communicate effectively and thoughtfully with students, parents, and colleagues
• Motivate and nurture the academic, personal, emotional, and social progress of students
• Differentiate curriculum and pedagogical practices to meet and exceed grade-level standards
• Engage students in RULER, social-emotional learning
• Conduct meetings with parents/families and students
• Teach all assigned sections and subjects
• Fulfill regular administrative tasks
• Actively support student arrival and dismissal processes
• Attend all faculty, In-Service, departmental, and professional development meetings
