KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a dynamic News Anchor / Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) to join our team. In addition to being an outstanding journalist with a great personality, you need to be a team leader. Our anchors are leaders who participate in the planning of our shows and produce content regularly.
Requirements
- Sharp news judgment
- The ability to tell an NPPA style story
- Excellent technical skills
- The ability to work well independently
- Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
- Strong Leadership skills
- Smooth/pleasant delivery
- Ability to adlib in absence of script
- Strong writing skills and news judgment
- Strong researcher
- Ability to network and build sources
- Producing background is a plus, willingness to learn is a must
