Content Producer

WSTM/WSTQ/WTVH has an immediate opening for a creative Content Producer to be responsible for the day-to-day production of our newscasts, working closely with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk and Anchors on the newscast and its content.

Requirements

• Solid news judgment
• Compelling and accurate writer
• Multitasking and time management
• Leadership and communication skills
• Execution of news strategies and goals
• Flexibility and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient with non-linear editing (Avid) and newsroom systems (iNews)
• Previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station (or equivalent entry-level experience)
