Digital Content Producer

We are seeking a Digital Content Producer to work at WLOS/My40TV in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience writing and producing news content for the web and social media, and will be responsible for day-to-day digital news content, working closely with the news managers and Digital Executive Producer to make sure all digital platforms are up-to-date, accurate and compelling.

Requirements

• Solid news judgment and the ability to write fast, accurate and mistake-free copy
• Must have some previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Knowledge of or a willingness to learn about social media content creation for multiple platforms
• Self-starter with a drive to chase down stories
• Excellent communicator and team player
