KABB/WOAI is looking for a motivated and creative General Assignment Reporter to help grow their audience and empower viewers. The ideal candidate should be able to think on their feet, have excellent live shot skills, and thrive on breaking stories.

Requirements

• Create, gather, and write meaningful and engaging stories for newscasts, websites, and social media platforms
• Provide news on air as directed by news management
• Engage with local community members
• Review material for fairness, accuracy, and balance
• Work closely with all team members, including Producers, Editors, Anchors, and News Director
