Job Description
An award-winning local news station has an immediate opening for a creative News Producer. The ideal candidate will have solid news judgment, be a compelling and accurate writer, and be able to multitask and manage time in order to put together an exciting and informative newscast.
Requirements
- Assist in producing daily newscasts under the guidance of senior producers and newsroom leadership
- Write clear, accurate, and engaging scripts, teases, and headlines
- Build rundowns and organize content for live and recorded broadcasts
- Monitor breaking news and make quick, thoughtful content updates as needed
- Other tasks as assigned by station leadership
