Job Description
SGX offers a unique internship experience in the financial industry, providing insights into the Exchange business and finance value chain. As an intern, you will be involved in real-time work from Day 1, working with the Index Edge team to design index methodologies, backtest best practices, and develop Python and Excel-based models.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and portfolio theories
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good command of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Coding skills in Python and SQL
- Knowledge in cloud computing (AWS) will be advantageous
- Ability to work independently and have curiosity to learn
