Associate Lecturer - ECON1595 Business Challenges in the Digital Economy (HE7)

To be successful in the digital economy a firm must find a source of 'market power', allowing it to charge prices in excess of its marginal cost. Students will learn to formulate business strategies to overcome the zero marginal-cost problem.

Requirements

• Possess a Master's Degree or professional qualification in the relevant discipline.
• 5 years of relevant work experience is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is a plus.
• Must be available to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for a period of 9 weeks.
• Must be able to handle sizeable class, grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to students within a given timeline.
