SingerLewak, a Top 100 accounting and consulting firm, seeks a Japanese bi-lingual Experienced Tax Staff for their International Tax practice. The firm provides services with a focus on client service, professional development, and technological advancement. The role involves assisting partners and managers on international clients, preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, and creating financial statements.

Requirements

• Assists partners and managers on small and large international clients.
• Records transactions in ledgers, prepares trial balances and simple financial statements using computer software program.
• Performs schedule computations of accruals, property and equipment, and calculates depreciation expense.
• Works effectively within given budgetary parameters; assist staff in prioritizing and managing their workload.
• Prepares income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals, including federal and state tax returns for multi-state companies and consolidated returns for affiliated groups.
• Creates financial statements for businesses from analyzing transactions, reconciling bank accounts and making adjustments to journal entries.
• Conducts tax research to ensure compliance with tax law.
