Research Fellow (Ref: NHCS/RF/D)

Research Fellow position at the National Heart Centre of Singapore, conducting translational research and designing bioinformatics pipelines.

Requirements

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Life Sciences (with bioinformatics focus), or equivalent
• Strong skills in NGS pipelines (RNA-seq, WES, ATAC-seq) using R/Python and tools like STAR, Seurat/Scanpy, and DESeq2
• Experience with public datasets and multi-modal integration across genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics
• Wet lab molecular biology experience (advantageous)
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end projects from data QC to publication
• Capable of independent work in fast-paced environments
• Excellent team player with strong prioritisation and multitasking abilities
