Job Description
Sitecore is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our engineering team within the Product Development department. As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the security, scalability, and quality of our geo-distributed microservice-based system.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C#.NET for automation scripting and test development
- Experience with databases, including testing relational or NoSQL solutions for data integrity
- Hands-on knowledge of Git, including version control fundamentals for test scripts
- Strong understanding of unit, integration and end to end testing, using frameworks like NUnit or XUnit
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly testing containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Comfort using development tools such as Visual Studio, VSCode, Resharper, GitHub Copilot or equivalent; solid working experience with web services testing for REST and GraphQL
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong collaboration skills, working closely with developers, product owners, and team members
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous test automation improvements
